Many in Fiji’s rural and maritime areas lack basic access to government services. A new United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) project, called REACH, was designed to bring government services directly to people in these undeserved areas. To highlight this project, and raise awareness of its availability, Pasifika produced a series of five short documentaries on the various aspects of the REACH project. Each documentary used real-life case studies and interviews with relevant experts to not only explain how the services are provided but to show how this rural outreach approach has actually touched people’s lives.
